Sigrid Cobet-Nüse advises in the areas of intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT). She has particular expertise in trademark, design and copyright law matters as well as in the field of unfair competition law, including strategic advice on the protection of trademarks and product designs as well as on the acquisition of IP registrations, the conduction of proceedings before the competent German and European offices and courts, and the negotiation on the settlement of disputes, e.g., through delimitation and licensing agreements. Sigrid represents clients in and out of court in disputes, in particular in proceedings against counterfeits, trademark infringements and breaches of competition law. Her expertise also covers the provision of ongoing advice on advertising matters, in particular in the fields of e-commerce and distribution, consumer information and protection, and data protection. Sigrid has acquired particular industry knowledge through ongoing advice to companies from the food and pharmaceutical sector and to well-known operators of online sales platforms.
